What is Secret™ RF?
Secret™ RF is one of the most technologically advanced forms of skin rejuvenation therapy available. Its powerful combination of fractional radiofrequency energy and minimally invasive micro-needles is ideal for non-surgical skin tightening, wrinkle and pore size reduction, acne and acne scar treatment, as well as axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) treatment.
Secret™ RF uses bipolar radiofrequency energy, delivered precisely and directly into the deeper layers of the dermis via minimally invasive micro-needles.
This creates microscopic wounds (fractionated denaturing) in the dermal tissue. These in turn stimulate fibroblast activity, causing a significant increase in collagen production as well as tightening of elastin fibres and an increase in lymphatic flow.
All skin types can be treated by the Secret™ RF with minimal downtime.
How long does a Secret™ RF treatment take?
The topical anesthetic cream requires 20 to 30 minutes to take effect prior to treatment, and then the treatment takes 20 to 30 minutes, including aftercare. So, each session requires approximately 1 hour. The Secret™ RF tips are single use.
How does a Secret™ RF treatment feel?
Especially with the correct application of a good topical anesthetic, the treatment is highly tolerable.
How long is recovery after a Secret™ RF treatment?
What is the recommended Secret™ RF treatment protocol?
The typical interval between sessions is once every 3-4 weeks. Most patients see excellent results following 2-4 treatments. This may vary according to your skin condition and your physician will be better able to assess and advise you of this.
